This puts him in a perfect position to meet patients with patience and understanding while they travel this road to recovery. Having rediscovered his purpose in life with music, Steven encourages patients to find their purpose that will fulfill their new sober life.

James Brown

James brings a calm presence and a strong sense of teamwork to everything he does. He’s passionate about helping others feel safe, heard, and supported, whether that’s leading group activities or just being there to listen when someone’s having a tough day.
Having experienced the impact of recovery in real life, James is committed to walking alongside the men at Eagle Lake as they go through treatment. He shows up with honesty, care, and encouragement, helping each person take steps toward healing and hope.

Crystal Fox, MS, RDN, LDN, IEDS

Crystal Fox is a Registered Dietitian (RD), Nutrition Therapist, and the founder of Healing Nutrition Therapy. Since beginning her practice in 2007, she has specialized in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, and chronic conditions such as diabetes. Her compassionate, evidence-based approach is grounded in Health At Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating, promoting healing from the inside out.

Melissa Colvin, LPN

Melissa Colvin, LPN is a dedicated psychiatric and substance abuse nurse with a decade of experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges and substance use disorders. She has worked across a variety of behavioral health environments, where she specializes in crisis intervention, detox support and compassionate trauma-informed care. Melissa is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel respected, understood, and empowered in their recovery.

Frank Smith, MA, LPC, NCC

Frank Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board-Certified Counselor with over 22 years of experience serving individuals impacted by addiction and trauma. A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Frank holds a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Substance Abuse Counseling.
